No, only winners are charged when the auction closes. At auction start, funds are reserved (similar to pay-at-the-pump), but not processed.
Yes, you can change your bid anytime before the auction closes.
If you choose to participate prior to the auction date, you'll be notified on the day of the auction if funds could not be reserved. You can update your payment method before the auction closes. If funds can be reserved, you will be a valid participant. However, if funds cannot be reserved by auction close, you will forfeit your place in the auction tier list despite your Peg.

You can purchase a mait from the mait website at a later date (October 1, 2026). However, in very rare cases, we may be able to offer a limited number of devices for influencers who missed the auction (typically reserved for influencers, press & product reviewers). Urgent orders will not be fulfilled until after the auction winners' orders have been completed.
